What EMLKit is for

EMLKit brings together viewers, converters and text utilities for EML, Outlook MSG, MBOX and winmail.dat. Use it to open a saved message, make a reading copy, inspect attachments or prepare a fictional email for a tutorial. The tools are free to use without an account.

How the tools work

Files and pasted text are processed by your browser. EMLKit does not upload your email to perform a conversion. The website itself still makes normal requests to its host. Each tool explains its supported formats and export limits; the privacy page describes file handling in more detail.

Examples and limitations

The downloadable studio-visit messages are fictional examples for trying the tools without a private email. A rendered preview does not verify sender identity or delivery. Rebuilt messages and visual exports can omit information, so keep originals when preservation matters.

Feedback and corrections

EMLKit welcomes reports about parsing problems, unclear instructions and translation mistakes. Include the tool and what you expected to happen. Please use invented data when sharing a reproduction.
