How to generate a mailto link
Enter one or more recipient addresses separated by commas. Add an optional subject, plain-text body, Cc or Bcc, then generate the link. Unicode text and reserved characters are percent-encoded so they do not become extra URL parameters.

What happens when someone opens the link
A compatible email application opens a draft with the encoded fields. The visitor chooses whether to send it. Browser and mail-application settings affect which application opens and how long links are handled; the generator does not provide a delivery service.
All addresses, including Bcc, are readable in the URL and page source. Do not put private recipient lists or secrets in a public link. The body is plain text, not an HTML email template. Header fields reject line breaks; body line breaks are encoded as CRLF.
Example: a link with a subject
Enter [email protected] as the recipient and Studio visit as the subject. The generated URL encodes the space as %20. Copy the HTML anchor into a page and test it with a configured mail application before publishing.
When adding a body or Cc, use the generated HTML version for markup: it escapes characters such as ampersands inside the attribute. Keep the draft short. A visitor can edit every prefilled field before sending, and application support varies.

The browser or operating system needs a mail handler. If nothing happens, configure the default email application or copy the recipient address into your mail service. A mailto link is not a hosted contact form and cannot guarantee a draft opens on every device.
A very long body may be shortened or rejected by the receiving application. Use a brief introduction and let the visitor finish the draft. Bcc is only a draft field here: anyone with the link can read that address in the URL.

No. It opens a draft in a configured application, where the visitor decides whether to send.
Can I attach a file with this link?
This generator does not add attachments. The visitor can attach files in their email application.
Does my data leave my device?
Your selected files and pasted text are processed in your browser, without being uploaded to EMLKit. Remove the input or leave the page to clear the current workspace. Ordinary page requests still reach the site host. Read about file handling.
